The replay of the 2019 President’s Cup between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko will come off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 15, 2019.

The announcement was stated in a release put out by the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) on Wednesday after all parties, mainly the clubs, agreed to the date and venue.

The initial match which was played on September 8 at the Baba Yara Stadium but it lasted only 10 minutes due to the very soggy nature of the pitch since it had rained heavily some hours to the start of the match.

GHALCA’s press release added that the association had formed an 8-member committee to oversee the match. Vice-chairman, Alex Akumey, would head the committee with George Ofosuhene and John Ansah as other members.

Edmund Ackah and Nana Kwame Dankwah will represent Kotoko while Alhaji Akambi and Charles Kwarteng will represent Hearts of Oak.

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be the special guest of honour at the match.
