Cesc Fabregas gushes over Partey in Atletico Madrid’s loss to Barcelona

Ex-Barcelona midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, must have been happy with the Catalans’ 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid but his attention was also on Ghana’s Thomas Partey who was playing for the opponents.

The 26-year-old featured in the heart of Atletico Madrid’s midfield in their 1-0 loss to Catalan giants, Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday.

Although Diego Simeone’s men lost the encounter courtesy a brilliant strike from Lionel Messi, Fabregas seem very enamoured with what he saw from Partey andm The World Cup winner shared his thoughts via Twitter in the course of the game.

He shared a tweet that was translated into English as “Thomas (Partey) is very good.”

Thomas Partey who wears the number 5 jersey for Atletico Madrid has had an amazing start to the 2019/2020 season, cementing his starting role in Diego Simeone’s team.

The Ghanaian midfielder has registered two goals and an assist in all competitions this season.
