PHOTOS: Hearts of Oak fans “dash” players money after epic comeback win

Accra Hearts of Oak came back from a goal down to defeat Liberty Professionals 2-1 in an Accra derby at the Carl Reindolf Park in Dansoman.

The win extended Hearts of Oak’s unbeaten run in the league to three games, and more crucially, handed the Phobians the right momentum heading into the “Super 2” clash against Asante Kotoko next Sunday.

Bernard Arthur turned in a spilled shot from Kofi Kordzi before Kordzi himself converted a neat tap in two minutes later to complete the come back.

Emmanuel Nettey put up a man of the match display from midfield in Dansoman, and the fans showed their appreciation afterwards, mobbing him and handing him cash from across the meshed barrier at the stadium.
