REVEALED: How Edward Odoom plans to solve Hearts’ scoring problems

Hearts of Oak interim head coach, Edward Odoom, has revealed that he is working with the team’s forward players to improve on their finishing.

Hearts are joint 3rd lowest scoring side in the Ghana Premier League with 9 goals which only betters the 7 scored by WAFA and the 8 scored by Eleven Wonders.

Odoom admits that the inability to score is a challenge but he has put some measures in place to sharpen the team’s attack in coming matches.

“We are gradually moving to solve a our goal scoring problem. We have started working on it because that the team lacks at the moment.

Last week, I had a session with the team’s strikers for an hour before the full team trained and we will continue doing that. I believe that it will help the team. Against Bechem United, I saw signs and I am convinced that it shall be well.”

5 of Hearts’ 9 goals this season have been scored by Kofi Kordzi and he got the goals against Bechem United, Dreams FC, Liberty Professionals and  Ebusua Dwarfs.

Hearts travel to Karela in Week 11 of the Ghana Premier League.
