Techiman Eleven Wonders travelled away to hand Accra Great Olympics a 2-1 defeat in Week 9 of the Ghana Premier League.

It took Eleven Wonders 12 minutes to stun the home side who had started brightly after a moment of miscommunication in the Olympics defence saw Musa Sule poking the visitors into the lead.

Accra Great Olympics did not give up and got themselves back in the game in the 24th minute as Gladson Awako saw his effort go in off the goalkeeper.

Musa Sule was stretched off the pitch 18 minutes after scoring due to an injury after he received a heavy tackle in the middle of the pitch.

Both sides had equal chances to take the lead in the first half but it was Salifu Ibrahim of Eleven Wonders who picked a pass from Abdul Zakaria from the right wing of attack and placed the ball beyond Olympics goalie Opoku in the 34th minute.

The first half ended 2-1 in favour of the visitors, Techiman Eleven Wonders.

The second half saw a lot more chancces being created by the home side but they failed to find the back of the net.

Gladson Awako came close twice with two brilliant free kicks but could only find the gloves of the goalkeeper of Eleven Wonders.

The visitors showed a lot more character in defense and held on to a 2-1 win over struggling Accra Great Olympics.
