Kumasi Asante Kotoko will play the rest of their home games of the current season at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Baba Yara Stadium is currently undergoing renovations and presumably, will not be available until the end of the season at least.

As such the Kumasi club have been forced to abandon their traditional home comforts for Accra.

Asante Kotoko still manage to draw huge crowds when they play in Accra

So will they be facing at their new home away from home?

Kotoko have 12 home games left in the current Ghana Premier League season, with more than a few tasty ties in there.

Their next home game is against Bechem United and they round off their season at home to King Faisal.

In between those games, they face Great Olympics and Legon Cities – who also call the Accra Sports Stadium home – in Week 16 and Week 19 respectively.

Fellow tenants, Inter Allies are Kotoko’s opponents in their penultimate home game of the league season.

The match against fellow title contenders, Medeama in Week 21 is certainly another game that will get tongues wagging.

Arguably, Kotoko’s biggest remaining home game is the Week 23 clash with Accra Hearts of Oak.

The match will be even more anticipated because Hearts will be seeking revenge for January’s last-minute defeat to the Porcupine Warriors on the same ground.

Kotoko’s remaining home ties in the Ghana Premier League

Week 12 vs Bechem United

Week 14  vs Elmina Sharks

Week 16 vs Great Olympics

Week 19 vs Legon Cities

Week 21 vs Medeama

Week 23 vs Hearts of Oak

Week 25 vs WAFA

Week 26 vs Dreams FC

Week 28 vs Aduana Stars

Week 30 vs Karela

Week 32 vs Inter Allies

Week 34 vs King Faisal

Of course, Kotoko are still in the FA Cup and will play at the Accra Sports Stadium if they are drawn to play at home.

However, their match this weekend against Deportivo will be played at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
