Inter Allies skipper Victorien Adebayor has, without a doubt, been the revelation of the season in the Ghana Premier League.

Having already found the net in his last four games, prior to Allies’ midweek match against Medeama, Adebayor scored yet again on Wednesday.

Although his side eventually lost 2-1 at home, Adebayor’s mood will certainly have been lifted after scoring in his fifth straight match.

That run started in the 4-2 win over King Faisal in Gameweek Four, where he scored Allies’ opener.

Adebayor then grabbed a brace in their 3-0 win at Eleven Wonders before scoring from the spot in Inter Allies’ 1-1 draw with Legon Cities FC.

He scored twice yet again – including a worldie – away at Berekum Chelsea before Wednesday’s consolation against Medeama.

In all, the player has scored seven goals in his last five games and 11 in eleven matches so far this season.

The player’s importance to his side cannot be understated as well.

Inter Allies are the league’s highest scorers with 18 goals but Adebayor has scored 11 of them.

With four assists as well, the Nigerian has been involved in 15 of their 18 goals, an astounding percentage of 83%.

He’s also currently top of the Ghana Premier League’s goalscorers’ list, with one more goal than Aduana Stars’ Yahaya Mohammed.
