See superb goal that made Jordan Ayew Ghana’s joint-highest ever goalscorer in the Premier League [VIDEO]

Jordan Ayew’s eighth Premier League goal of the season was yet another crucial one for Crystal Palace.

With Watford dominating the early stages of their encounter at Selhurst Park. Wilfried Zaha picked up the ball on the left and found a pass to Christian Benteke in the box.

After some great hold-up play, the Belgian released the ball to James McArthur who in turn found Jordan Ayew in some space on the edge of the box.

The Black Stars striker was immediately surrounded by three Watford players but still managed to curl a beautiful effort into the back of the net past goalkeeper Ben Foster.

It was yet another great strike in a season of superb goals for the Ghanaian.

It proved to be the matchwinning strike yet again for the Ghanaian, the fifth time he has won all three points for the Eagles this season.

The goal also marked Jordan’s highest ever goal tally in the Premier League with eight goals so far.

It also put him level with Anthony Yeboah – both with 24 goals – as Ghana’s highest ever goalscorer in the English top-flight.

Of course, Crystal Palace fans immediately took to Twitter to shower their now favoured son with praise.

Others have been waiting desperately to see the strike that has been described as best as they could, but still not well enough by various sports sites.
