According to reports, Legon Cities FC are set to bag the signing of Jonas Attuquaye from Berekum Chelsea in the coming days.

Reports say that the two teams have agreed on a GHS 60,000 fee and the player will sign a three-year deal with Legon Cities FC.

Legon Cities have been on the market to strengthen their team during the current second window for Ghana Premier League clubs to register players and add to their ranks and according to Angel Sports’ Saddick Adams, Attuquaye is one of the names that will be working the team once the Ghana league returns.

Earlier this week, Citi Sports sources at the club stated that former Dwarfs striker, Nicholas Gyan, would sign for Legon Cities FC by Friday.

Of the 15 matches they played in the league before the suspension due to Coronavirus, Legon Cities won only three, lost five and lost seven.

They scored 12 goals and let in 18 in those matches and they placed 14th on the league table.
