On 3rd April 2018, Cristiano Ronaldo scored an audacious bicycle kick to help Real Madrid beat Juventus in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

The former Real Madrid star single-handedly demolished The Old Ladies of Turin with two goals but it was his second on the night that stands out in history.

Ronaldo had put Los Blancos in front on the 3rd minute and became the first player in history to score in 10 consecutive UEFA Champions League goals.

Juventus had chances to equalize as their fans raved and cheered them on to find the net.

Then in the 64th minute of the game, Spanish international, Dani Carvajal lifted a cross to the Portuguese who rose to meet the cross in the most spectacular way to Juventus fans and the rest of sporting world in awe.

The night to could only get worse for the home side as they shipped in three goals without response.

To make matters worse, Paulo Dybala got himself sent off for a challenge on Carvajal.

Juventus, however, won the return leg by 3-1 but lost on an overall aggregate of 4-3 to end their hopes of winning yet another UCL trophy.

Ronaldo now plays for Juventus after he joined the Italian outfit for a reported transfer fee of £105 million.
