Spanish giants, Real Madrid, have approached Danish side FC Nordsjaelland for a possible sale of the Ghanaian teenager, Mohammed Kudus, in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Ghanaian has been in top form in the Danish Superligaen this season, scoring nine goals from 19 league games for the Farum-based club, and his performance has reportedly attracted the attention of other clubs like Everton, Lazio, Genk, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, among others.
According to the Spanish tabloid, Fichajes, Los Blancos are also interested in the 19-year-old playmaker after watching his highlights, and they have now approached FC Nordsjaelland over his availability this summer.
Real Madrid see Kudus as a star for the future and one who could follow the paths of Federico Valverde, Rodrygo, Renier Jesus, Vinicious Junior and others who were signed at a younger age years ago and are now the mainstay in the senior team.
Kudus will start with the Real Madrid youth team (Castilla) in the Segunda B which is the third tier in Spanish football before progressing to the main team if he is signed.
Currently, his contract with FC Nordsjaelland expires on December 31, 2021 and his buy-out clause has been pegged at 3 million Euros.
He joined FC Nordsjaelland from Right to Dream Academy in Ghana on January 1, 2018 and featured for their under-19 side before gaining promotion to the senior team six months later.
On the international scene, Kudus was part of the Black Starlets team which reached the second round of the Under-17 World Cup in India in 2017, while he also scored on his Black Stars debut against South Africa in a 2021 AFCON qualifier against South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium on November 14, 2019.
