Thomas Partey’s future with Spanish side Atletico Madrid looks uncertain, as Premier League giants Arsenal step up efforts to snap up the Ghanaian’s signature.
Reports from Spain earlier this month suggest Atletico have resigned to letting Partey leave, and have already began searching for his replacement.
According to Spanish news outlet, La Razon, Mallorca midfielder Idrissu Baba, is being lined up by Atletico Madrid as a possible replacement for Partey.
Baba has been incredible for Mallorca this season making 30 appearances so far for the island club.
With Mallorca’s future in the La Liga looking bleaker with every passing week, the lure of Atletico could prove too promising for Baba to turn down.
Baba has a current market value of €12 million.
