Kotoko captain Felix Annan recounts how he met his wife on Facebook

Asante Kotoko captain, Felix Annan has recounted how he met his now wedded wife Francisca Yeboah on Facebook in 2009.

Annan tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend in a private ceremony in January 2020. The colourful ceremony was held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, in the Ahafo Region, Dormaa to be precise.

The Black Stars goalkeeper insists that it is never wrong to use social media with regards to choosing a life partner.

“Social media can be useful when put to good use. I met my wife on Facebook. I was so open with her that she took a train from Italy to Switzerland to meet me when I was on a training tour with.

“I met her through Facebook in 2009. We started being friends but it was until six years, that we started toplan everything, ” he said on Opemsuo Radio.

“Social media is good but it depends on how you use it. For me, It has been good because my wife has done so many sacrifices.”

Annan lost the number spot to Kwame Baah due to his wedding ceremony. The suspended league was then in week five.
