The result means Jurgen Klopp’s team are now mathematically beyond reach.
This is the Reds first title in 30 years, and they are still on course to break the record for the overall points haul.
Liverpool have amassed 86 points so far with 7 games still left to play.
Liverpool missed out on the title by just a point last season despite picking up a club record 97 points.
