Ghana international forward, Kevin Prince Boateng was on target for Turkish side Besiktas as they narrowly beat Kasimpasa 3-2 in their Turkish Super Lig encounter on Thursday.

Kasimpasa’s Bengali-Fode Koita cancelled out Tyler Body’s opener for Besiktas, before adding his second to give his side the lead at the break.

Besiktas equalized almost immediately after the restart through the former Barcelona man Boateng.

Guven Yalcin scored a dramatic late winner for Besiktas to maintain their strong pursuit for European football next season.

Boateng, after the game, posted on his official twitter handle, paying tribute to his teammates for the win.

Hard work pays off 🦅 Great team win! #BJKvKAS @Besiktas #deligibiseverim ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 pic.twitter.com/MzQHl44IzW

Besiktas are currently 4th on the Turkish Super Lig table, one point behind Sivasspor with just three games remaining.
