Ghanaian defender, Mohammed Salisu, has been named in the La Liga breakout xi of the 2019/2020 season.
The list put together by renowned Spanish media outlet, Marca, also includes Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati, and Real Madrid’s Uruguayan midfielder Fede Valverde.
Salisu caught the eye of many observers this season with a string of splendid performances for Spanish La Liga side, Real Valladolid.
The 21 year old made 31 appearances in the just ended La Liga season, helping his side, Real Valladolid to finish with the league’s 5th best defense.
Salisu, is set to join Premier League side, Southampton, after the Saints met his £10.9 million release clause.
