The World Boxing Organization (WBO), has ordered a final eliminator between Ghana’s Emmanuel ’Gameboy’ Tagoe and American Ryan García for the WBO Lightweight title mandatory challenger.

Current WBO Lightweight champion, Vasyl Lomachenko, will put his title on the line, along with his WBA title, against IBF title holder Teofimo Lopez, with the winner of that fight set to take on the winner of the Tagoe-García fight for the WBO title.

Tagoe, who holds the IBO title, is on a 31 fight winning streak, after defeat in his professional debut.

Garcia, who boasts an impressive 20-0  record, with  17KOs, was recently ordered to next face England’s Luke Campbell for the WBC interim title fight.

📝 The WBO have now ordered Ryan Garcia vs Emmanuel Tagoe as a final eliminator to determine their next mandatory for Vasyl Lomachenko. Garcia has two options as he was also ordered by the WBC to face Luke Campbell for their 'interim' belt and to become mandatory for Devin Haney.

The date for the fight is however yet to be decided.
