Legon Cities goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda says Goalkeepers have been most affected by the halt in football activities in the country.

The Coronavirus outbreak has forced the suspension of football in Ghana for the last five months and the former Black Stars goalkeeper details the difficulties he’s been through while trying to keep fit during this period in preparation for the commencement of the new season.

“It is very difficult training without playing games, especially if your are a goalkeeper.

You may end up loosing your reflexes, so if you don’t improvise and adjust by training on your own, it will be difficult.” he concluded.

The Ghana Football Association plans to resume the league by the second week of October upon consultation with government on the country’s Covid – 19 status.

The FA submitted draft proposal for “Return to Football” to clubs awaiting inputs and suggestions.
