We are proud Kumericans – Asante Kotoko join social media trend

The wave of ‘Kumerica’ has taken over the Ghanaian social media space over the past couple of weeks.

Kumerica, is simply a new nickname for the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi – with natives of the Ashanti Region in Ghana referred to as Kumericans.

The pride of Ashanti, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, have joined the trend, declaring themselves proud Kumericans.

Asante Kotoko will represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League after the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League was cancelled.
