President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, is set to begin receiving GHS 12,000 monthly allowance after the proposal was overwhelmingly approved at the 26th GFA Ordinary Congress.

The Emoluments Committee of the Ghana Football Association, headed by Hearts of Oak CEO Frederick Moore, proposed among other things, a monthly remuneration of GHS 12,000 for the GFA President and GHS 7,000 for the Vice President.

Members of the GFA Executive Council are to receive GHS 4,000 monthly, after congress approved the entire proposal.

The new arrangement will also see the GFA President receive GHS 1,600 as sitting allowance for EXCO meetings, with GHS 1,400 and GHS 1,300 going to the Vice President and Exco Council members respectively.

Travel allowances

The GFA President will receive $500 per day on every international travel assignment. $400 will go to the Vice President and Executive Council members will receive $300.

For domestic travels, the GFA President will be given GHS 600 per day for accommodation and transport, GHS 500 going to the Vice President and GHS 400 for the Executive Council members.
