Ghana Premier League clubs commiserate after the death of six colts footballers

Ghana Premier League clubs have taken to social media to mourn the death of the six colts footballers who lost their lives in a gory accident.

The players and their handlers were headed to Offinso having undergone their District Colts football registration exercise at Afrancho.

The injured members of the team are currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after being transferred from St. Patrick Hospital at Offinso.

Ghana Premier League clubs have taken to social media to commiserate with the victims of the crash.

We are deeply saddened by the unfortunate loss of life in an accident at Ofinso last Saturday night, involving Africa Vision Soccer Academy.

Ashgold also tweeted: “We are deeply saddened by the unfortunate loss of life in an accident at Ofinso last Saturday night, involving Africa Vision Soccer Academy. All of us at Ashantigold SC express our condolences to their families and wish the injured speedy recovery.”

Legon Cities FC posted: “Very disturbing news we are picking up from Afrancho concerning a colts club in Offinso. Our hearts and thoughts are with the bereaved families and to the kids recuperating, we are desperate to see them pull through. We keeping you in our prayers.”

“Everyone at the club is saddened by the unfortunate incident at Offinso on Saturday night and deeply mourns with family, management, and playing body of Vision Soccer Academy. We bless the souls of the departed and pray for divine healing for the injured.” – Dreams FC.
