Four players from the Black Stars camp, including Jordan Ayew and Kassim Nuhu, have tested positive for Coronavirus after their friendlies against Mali and Qatar in Turkey.
The others, Gideon Mensah and Bernard Mensah also returned positive tests after returning to their respective clubs.
Defender, Joseph Aidoo who has also reportedly tested positive, was omitted from Celta Vigo’s squad that lost Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
Trabzonspor’s Caleb Ekuban meanwhile, has been hospitalised after showing symptoms of the virus, although his initial test came back negative.
Aside the four confirmed players, Black Stars Management Committee member, Jones Abu Alhassan, who was a member of Ghana’s contingent to Turkey for the friendlies, has also tested positive.
