Arsenal have finally shown off their star signing as they unveiled Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey on Tuesday.
The Gunners triggered Partey’s release clause of £45million in order to acquire his services from Spanish side, Atlético Madrid.
After completing the deal on transfer deadline day, the 27-year-old could not join his new teammates as he immediately travelled to Turkey to play in Ghana’s two international friendlies against Mali and Qatar. During his time with the Black Stars, he provided two assists as Ghana thumped the Asian champions 5-1.
Due to the international break, the Gunners could not announce the signing of Partey with official pictures but rather put up a brief video of him.
Welcome to the Partey! 🥳

After days of clamouring by Arsenal fans, Partey is now wearing the beautiful kits of the Gunners, and they love it.
The Gunners first served fans with a teaser from the official photoshoot as Partey walked to the white background, picked up his jersey with kit number 18 and then smiled for the cameras.
