On 25th October 2019, Kurt Okraku became President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following a closely contested elections held in Accra.
His victory meant he took over the vacant seat left by Kwesi Nyantakyi who resigned in 2018 following an exposé by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas which led to the institution of a normalisation committee to run the country’s football.
A year on, the GFA president sat down with Citi Sports editor, Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo to reflect on his 12 months in office.
