The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Authority will embark on an exercise to disinfect and fumigate the various match venues across the country ahead of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

Following government’s commitment to support the resumption of football in the country, the MOYS and NSA will ensure that all 18 match venues for Premier League clubs will be disinfected and fumigated ahead of the start of the 2020/21 football season.

In preparation for this, a fumigation company has been contracted to undertake this exercise on behalf of the Ministry and the NSA.

All Premier League clubs are expected to fully cooperate with the company to ensure a very successful exercise.

The Ministry has also contracted another company specifically for the disinfection and fumigation of all Division One League venues as well.
