GHPL: Asante Kotoko determined to end six-year title drought – Felix Annan

Kumasi Asante Kotoko Captain, Felix Annan says the team will have to give off their very best in the new season if they want to win the Ghana Premier League trophy.

Kotoko last won the league in the 2013-2014 season under Coach Didi Dramani and will be looking to win their 24th title when the new campaign begins on Saturday.

Annan believes hard work and determination will lead the team to success.

“It will take hard work and determination as well as giving a hundred percent in all our performances.” He said in an interview with the club.

“This is a big club and every season, we have to fight for every trophy.

“We know it’s been about six years since we last won the Ghana Premier League, so we need to regroup and help the club recapture its lost glory.”

The porcupine warriors will begin their campaign with a game against Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
