Ghana’s Black Stars face Sudan on Thursday in an AFCON 2022 qualifier at the Cape Coast Stadium looking to extend their 100% record in the series.
The Black Stars have already registered two wins from their opening two games against São Tomé and South Africa.
The game, which is Ghana’s first at home this year, will be played behind close doors per CAF’s Covid-19 protocols.
Citi Sports checks before the game, have revealed strict adherence and enforcement of these protocols by officials handling the game.
Three road blocks, about 60 yards to the entrance of the stadium, being manned by security personnel, have been mounted to prevent crowds from making their way to the grounds.
Hand washing essentials have also been provided at the entrance of the stadium in compliance with the covid-19 protocols.
Six Black Stars players tested positive for Covid-19 during last month’s international break, where Ghana faced Mali and Qatar in Turkey.
