Inter Allies FC head Coach, Henrik Lehm has been referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association, for comments he made against referee Ibrahim Abdulai and his assistants following his side’s 1-0 loss to Karela United on match day 2.
The Danish trainer did not agree with the decision of the referee to award a penalty to Karela United which resulted in Inter Allies losing their first game of the campaign.
Lehm becomes the third Ghana Premier League coach that has been dragged to the Disciplinary Committee of the GFA for comments made against a referee, following Ebusua Dwarfs Head Coach, Ernest Thompson Quartey and Kumasi Asante Kotoko Head Coach, Maxwell Konadu.
The Ghana Football Association, has urged all club officials and coaches as well as the playing body to desist from making comments about officiating in public and use the right channels to seek redress.
