Legon Cities not title contenders – Goran Barjaktarevic

Head Coach of Legon Cities, Goran Barjaktarevic says the team is under no pressure to win the upcoming Ghana Premier League Season.

The Legon based side have been one of the busiest teams in the transfer window and caused a stir when they beat Asante Kotoko to the signature of Ghana’s all-time scorer Asamoah Gyan.

Despite all the new players the gaffer believes showing improvement as a team is their main objective.

“There is no pressure on me, of course I would like to win everything but we will try to do our very best when the season begins.” He said.

“The most important thing is that we play good football, so that the fans will see that we didn’t sleep during the break”

Legon Cities in preparation for the start of the new season have strengthened their squad with 12 new players and will begin their league campaign against Berekum Chelsea on  November 16, 2020, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
