President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has commissioned the Sekondi Methodist Astroturf Park in the Sekondi Constituency.
The facility was solely financed by Ghana Gas and forms part of the government’s efforts to improve sports infrastructure in the country.
The project, which was constructed by Wembley Sports Construction, becomes the newest addition to government’s ‘one constituency one Astroturf’ programme which also has edifices in Madina, Kyebi, Walewale and Kumasi.
The new edifice can boast of a panel mesh fencing, washrooms, floodlights, goal posts, and reserve stands.
