The statement also said assistant coach Johnson Smith would take over the first team duties on an interim basis.
Konadu, who won the league with Kotoko in 2012, was re-appointed in December 2019, for a new three year term.
The club has only managed one win in four games this season, but it is the performances, largely uninspiring, that has forced management to act.
They lost 1-0 at home to Great Olympics in an outstanding Ghana Premier League game on Thursday night, the nail in the coffin for the former Ghana Black Stars B head coach.
The Porcupine Warriors have a busy next 8 days in which they visit Dreams on 20th December, host Al Hilal in the CAF Champions League on December 23 and conclude with busy schedule with a trip to Medeama on December 27.
