Brighton and Hove Albion right-back, Tariq Lamptey, has donated to kids in Nuaso near Odumase Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana through the Tariq Lamptey Foundation.
The 20-year-old flying fullback is born in England to Ghanaian parents and is now the subject of transfer interest of many European football powerhouses.
He is also being courted by the Ghana Football Association, who want him to choose the country of his parents over England.
The Tariq Lamptey foundation as part of activities marking the festive season: donated jerseys, football boots, assorted drinks, and others to the children of Nuaso on Christmas day.
Children who had never worn football boots, wearing bright smiles, could clearly be seen to be enjoying their new gears.
The former Chelsea player has represented England at youth levels but has not ruled out the possibility of representing Ghana’s senior male national team, the Black Stars.
