Mauricio Pochettino is set to earn a decent amount of income after being named the new manager of Paris Saint-Germain.

Bein Sports journalist Tancredi Palmeri has stated that the Argentine will earn €7 million-a-year on his 18-month deal.

So how does his mega salary compare with his colleagues?

Pochettino doesn’t actually make it into the top 10 highest-paid coaches in world football.

That list is topped by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, whose marauding tenure in England sees him earn €23 million a month.

He is followed by Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho who earns €17.5 million and Atletico boss Diego Simeone who bags €15 million.

The top 10 is rounded out by Bayern Munich’s treble-winning boss Hansi Flick who earns €8 million every month.
