Ghana’s Black Starlets will begin their campaign in the WAFU U-17 Cup of Nations against Nigeria on Saturday.
The team arrived in Togo on Wednesday and begun training on Thursday ahead of the encounter.
Head Coach Ben Fokuo named a 28-man squad for the tournament which will also serve as qualifiers for the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations to be staged in Morocco.
Bolga All Stars forward Bukari Sammed, Abdul Manaf Ibrahim of Attram De Visser Academy, Jonas Naafo of Nania FC and Zaidan Alhassan of New Edubiase United Football Club are some of the top players in the squad.

Participating countries have been given a special dispensation to name more than 21 players for the tournament due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Ghana has been placed in Group B alongside Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire.
The top two teams from this tournament will qualify for the 2021 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Morocco.
