Aduana Stars head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin insists his team needs at least 5 new players to be considered title contenders.
The two-time Champions last won the league title in 2017, and currently sit second in the Ghana Premier League table.
Following their big win over Asante Kotoko on Sunday, Fabin insisted his team cannot be deemed contenders for the title because they lack squad depth.
“We need not less than 5 new players to be considered title contenders in the league,” Fabin said.
“For now, we are not [contenders]; we are just trying to find our rhythm. But definitely, we need to reinforce if we want to be counted as contenders for the league title,” Fabin concluded.
Aduana Stars next host Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
