Agyemang Badu advocates for Kotoko to revive U – 20 side

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu wants Kotoko to lean on talent from their U – 20 side as they seek to return to winning ways both locally and at the continental level.

The Porcupine Warriors have struggled for form this season and are currently 7th on the Ghana Premier League log after sacking head coach Maxwell Konadu only four games into the new season.

Badu believes introducing players from the junior team that understand the culture of the club will help in the revival process.

“We need to revive the U – 20 of Asante Kotoko.

“Teams like Kotoko are like Real Madrid and that means that you cant bring in a lot of junior players but you need a few that know the culture of Kotoko.

“From where I come from I can scout a lot of players that will help the side,” he told Muftawu Nabila in an interview.

Badu recently announced his retirement from the national team and has expressed interest in taking up professional scouting.
