Hearts of Oak suffered their second successive Ghana Premier League defeat after going down 1-0 in Tarkwa against Medeama.
Hearts Head Coach, Kosta Papic, made three changes to his starting lineup, with goalkeeper Richard Attah returning, together with defender, Larry Sumaila and forward Kwadwo Obeng Jnr.
The Phobians, who have now gone three games without scoring, struggled to fashion out clear cut goal scoring opportunities, and were well matched by Medeama in a keenly contested encounter.
Medeama midfielder, Justice Blay, got the all important goal in the second half, with a well taken close range finish.
The defeat means Hearts now find themselves six points behind leaders, Karela, and have now gone three games without a win.
