Accra Great Olympics continued their fine form in the Ghana Premier League with a 3-1 victory over King Faisal on Match day 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Dade Boys went into the game hoping to pick up from where they left off over the weekend in their 2-0 win over Accra rivals Hearts of Oak.

Charles Danso’s goal from close range in the 40th minute set the tone for the home team as they went to half-time with the advantage.

Olympics returned from recess determined to increase their advantage as they applied pressure to the King Faisal defense.

Samuel Ashie-Quaye doubled the lead for the home team in the 55th minute before Frimpong Boateng pulled one back for King Faisal in the 75th minute.

However, Olympics restored their two-goal advantage through Michael Yeboah in the 82nd minute and that was enough to seal the deal for the Dade Boys.

The win takes Great Olympics to 2nd position with 21 points, while King Faisal sit in 15th place with 10 points from 12 matches.
