The Black Stars B team succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Uzbekistan in an international friendly played at the Markaziy Stadium in Namangan, Uzbekistan.

Otabek Shukurov gave the host an early lead, finishing off a neat team move in the 4th minute to send the home crowd into raptures.

After half time, Ghana U-20 star Abdul Fatawu Issahaku levelled for Ghana with a long range free-kick in the 71st minute but the lead only lasted four minutes with Uzbekistan capitalizing on a defensive error to restore their advantage and see off victory.
