Head Coach for São Tomé and Príncipe , Adriano Eusebio has labeled Ghana as the best team in Africa following their 3-1 defeat in the final game of the AFCON Qualifiers on Sunday.
The Black Stars put up an impressive performance to crown qualification to the 2022 AFCON tournament by topping group C with 13 points.
In his post match thoughts, Eusebio seemed in awe of his Ghanaian counterparts.
“For me, Ghana is the best team of the moment, they have very good players and the National team plays very well and they were really strong in this group.”
“This group was very strong but for me, Ghana was the Shark of the group, very strong.
“The name is Black Stars and it is true, they have an amazing team.” He concluded.
Sao Tome and Principe failed to pick up a single point over the two leg series, conceding four goals and scoring just once.
