Re-Live: South Africa 1 -1 Ghana -Black Stars book ticket to Cameroon

17:50: It’s all over at the FNB Stadium. The game ends 1-1 and the Black Stars book qualification to the 2022 AFCON in Cameroon next year.

17:14 GMT- GOAL FOR SOUTH AFRICA! Percy Tau finishes from close range. Ghana goalkeeper, Razak Abalora, will be disappointed with his efforts.

17:10 GMT- GOAL FOR GHANA! Mohammed Kudus, who has been the standout player on the pitch for Ghana, puts the Black Stars ahead with a fine left footed finish off the post.

17:06 GMT- Second half begins

16:53 GMT- First half ends goalless at the FNB Stadium. South Africa have been the most threatening, but have nothing to show for their dominance so far. They have had 58% percen of the possession to Ghana’s 43%.

16:35 -Half an hour gone. A few scoring opportunities created but none has materialized into a goal yet as we approach half-time. South Africa with the better chances.

16:09- Chance for South Africa, as Morena fires into the side netting from close range.

16:04- We are under way at the FNB Stadium with Ghana kicking us off

15:50 –Welcome to the live updates of the AFCON 2021 qualifier between Ghana and South Africa. The Bafana Bafana host Ghana’s Black Stars in the penultimate round of AFCON qualifiers. Both teams need three points from an available six to guarantee a spot in next year’s AFCON.
