‘Everybody flopped’ – Bechem coach lays into players after Kotoko defeat

Head Coach for Bechem United Kassim Ocansey Mingle believes his players ‘flopped’  in the defeat to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Kotoko’s two Brazilian players, Fabio Gama and Michael Vinicius, scored a goal each to help the Porcupine Warriors to a thumping 4-0 win over Bechem United in an outstanding Ghana Premier League game in Obuasi on Wednesday.

Following their 2-0 win over Liberty Professionals in Match week 18, Kasim Mingle was very confident his team would secure a win against Kotoko but unfortunately, the game didn’t go as planned for the hunters.

According to Mingle, his players didn’t play the way they were required to.

“All of them flopped, they didn’t play the way we were supposed to.” Kassim Mingle said after the game.

“We played very well against Liberty Professionals and that is why we were so confident of victory but they all flopped.

“I can’t tell what happened, we will have to go to the dressing room to find out what went wrong”

The defeat leaves Bechem United in 7th place, level on 27 points with Dreams FC and Medeama Sporting Club.

Kassim Mingle and his men will be hoping to bounce back when they visit WAFA in Match week 19.
