Asante Kotoko ace, Fabio Gama has left the door open on playing for Ghana’s Black Stars in the future.

The 28 year old attacking midfielder has been one of the standout performers in this season’s Ghana Premier League, since joining the Porcupine Warriors at the start of the 2020/2021 campaign.

The left footed attacker, in an interview on Pure FM, opened up about his intentions, and believes talk of representing Ghana at senior level is something that could be possible in the future.

“Why not, but it’s not an easy decision to make.

“I would have to discuss it with my family, so I can’t give a definite answer now.

“It’s a decision that you have to think about very well,” he said.

Gama is still yet to feature for his native Brazil at senior level, despite making a couple of appearances at youth level, and will be eligible for Ghana’s Black Stars, should he eventually get Ghanaian citizenship.

He is expected to make a return to the Kotoko setup after missing their last game against Great Olympics due to a suspension, when the Porcupine Warriors host Medeama in their next Ghana Premier League fixture on Saturday.
