Asante Kotoko’s Brazilian midfielder, Fabio Gama, believes the Porcupine Warriors are the best team in the country.

Kotoko are top of the Ghana Premier League table with a 2-point lead over Great Olympics after 20 games.

The 27 year old has been in superb form in recent matches, contributing two goals and one assist in his last 3 games.

But he says the team must prove their quality when they are on the field of play.

“Kotoko is the best team in Ghana, but we need to prove that when we are on the pitch”. He said in an interview on Pure FM.

“We also need to improve, to show that we are indeed the best in the country.

Fabio Gama joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko prior to the start of the 2020/2021 season and has made 15 appearances since joining.

Kotoko have won the Ghana Premier League 24 times in their history, four more than  rivals, Hearts of Oak.
