Abdul Manaf Mudasiru’s late strike gave Accra Great Olympics a 3-2 win over WAFA on Match day 23 of the Ghana Premier League on Friday at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.

The victory sees the Dade Boys move to the summit of the table with 40 points, a point above Medeama.

WAFA fought back from two goals down to hold Great Olympics until late in the 90th minute when substitute  Mudasiru came on to snatch all three points for the visitors.

Gladson Awako scored early in the 14th minute to give Olympics the lead in the first half.

In the second-half, Boakye Yiadom’s own goal in the 60th minute then doubled the advantage for the visitors.

But WAFA would not be deterred as they equalized within a space of ten minutes through Enock Asubonteng (70) and Justus Torsutey (79).

Great Olympics forward Manaf Mudasiru who had come on as a substitute grabbed the winner with the final kick of the game in added time (90+4) to send the Dade Boys top of the league for a few hours.
