Legon Cities youngster, Mathew Anim Cudjoe produced arguably the best assist of the season to set the Royals on their way to a 2-0 win over two-time champions Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Anim Cudjoe, 18, set up Jonah Attuquaye for Legon’s opening goal, picking out the diminutive attack with a pass from outside of his boot, having nutmegged an Aduana attacker moments before the audacious inch-perfect delivery.
Legon Cities registered their second goal via a spot-kick which centre-back Joseph Adjei expertly converted in the 57th minute.
Aduana found it difficult to create space and meaningful chances to get themselves back in the game.
The 2-0 win shoots Legon Cities into 11th position with 32 points.
Aduana, who suffered their ninth defeat in 26 matches, now stand 8th with 39 points in the league table.

He has been criticized for not stepping up this season but in this game against Aduana Stars, the Ghana U-20 star served reminders of his talent. Superb. #GPLwk26 pic.twitter.com/CRffXIRIYV
