Poland have named captain and record goalscorer Robert Lewandowski in their 26-man squad for Euro 2020 this summer, but there was no place for the injured Krzysztof Piatek.

Piatek, 25, is a regular for Poland but last week fractured his ankle in the second half of Hertha Berlin’s 2-1 Bundesliga victory over Schalke 04.

Seven players based in England have been included, with another — West Brom winger Kamil Grosicki — named on the reserve list.

Poland are in Group E along with Spain, Sweden and Slovakia.

Which England-based players are in?

There is significant Premier League representation in the Poland squad, with West Ham’s Lukasz Fabianski joined by Southampton’s Jan Bednarek, Brighton’s Jakub Moder and Leeds’ Mateusz Klich.

Derby’s Kamil Jozwiak, Barnsley’s Michal Helik and Norwich’s Przemyslaw Placheta are also included.

West Brom winger Grosicki is among the reserves.

Midfielders: Przemysław Frankowski (Chicago Fire), Kamil Jozwiak (Derby), Mateusz Klich (Leeds), Kacper Kozlowski (Pogon Szczecin), Grzegorz Krychowiak (Lokomotiv Moskva), Karol Linetty (Torino), Jakub Moder (Brighton), Przemyslaw Placheta (Norwich), Piotr Zielinski (Napoli)

Forwards: Dawid Kownacki (Fortuna Dusseldorf), Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich), Arkadiusz Milik (Marseille), Karol Swiderski (PAOK), Jakub Swierczok (Piast Gliwice)

Who is on the reserve list?
Poland have named a five-man standby list as follows: Radoslaw Majecki (Monaco), Rafal Augustyniak (Ural Ekaterinburg), Kamil Grosicki (West Brom), Robert Gumny (Augsburg), Sebastian Szymanski (Dinamo Moskva)

Who do Poland face at the Euros?
