See how Kai Havertz sent Kroos back to Madrid as Chelsea reach UCL final [VIDEO]

Reading Time: 1 min read

Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos, irked a lot of Chelsea fans when he was quoted as having said that he didn’t lose sleep over any Blues player before their match on Wednesday.

However, an encounter with one Chelsea player will probably leave him with nightmares for at least a couple of days.

Chelsea starlet, Kai Havertz took the ball in midfield and advanced on goal only to be approached by Kroos.

The lanky German, without any fuss, tucked the ball through the legs of his international teammate.

It was a beautiful move that might have been left as a footnote of a great Chelsea win were it not for Kroos’ words before the game.

And Chelsea fans were eager to not let him forget it, as were some of the Blues players, apparently.

Mason Mount, who netted the West London side’s second goal aimed a dig at the German after the game.

“I saw one of their players saying he doesn’t lose sleep over any of our players…Maybe he should lose sleep over us as a team.”

Chelsea claimed a 2-0 win on the night, and a 3-1 win on aggregate, to reach the final in Istanbul.

Mason Mount showed Modric levels in the first leg, Kai Havertz showed Kroos levels in the second leg and Kante showed their entire midfield levels in both legs. We are clear.
