Black Stars join “Green Ghana Day” tree planting campaign

The Black Stars players on Friday joined the nationwide tree-planting campaign  dubbed Green Ghana Day event.

The team in collaboration with University of Cape Coast and Forestry Commission planted some trees in Cape Coast to mark the nation’s effort to revamp the natural reserves.

“Green Ghana Day” falls under the Green Ghana project, expected to be fully implemented in the next five years.

C.K Akonnor’s men are in Cape Coast preparing for their friendly match against the Ivory Coast which is scheduled to take place on Saturday June 12, 2021.

The game is scheduled for 17:00GMT.
