English Championship side, Swansea City, in an emotional series of social media posts on Friday, bid farewell to Andre Ayew who’s on his way out of the club.

The club confirmed on Friday, that the 31 year old talisman would leave when his contract expires in a month’s time.

Ayew, who has finished as the club’s top scorer in the past two seasons, leaves after a total of four and a half years at the club.

Ayew first joined Swansea in 2015, and was an instant hit in his first season, earning a big money move to West Ham United in the following campaign.

He returned to Swansea back in 2018, left on loan to Fernerbahce, before coming back for the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 campaigns in the EFL, where he and Swansea suffered back to back Playoff heartbreak.
